Mississippi Country Wedding

Hi!

I have been so excited to post this sneak peak! A few weekends ago I was flown down by an amazing family, so I could capture the wedding of one of my best friends! It was an amazing day filled with laughter, love, and sun (the maid of honor’s and my back showed proof of that).  I was so blessed to be there and I hope this sneak peak shows a little of the love between these two.

Feel free to comment!

Rainy Engagement Photo Shoot

Last weekend I took these engagement shoots for my best friend. It was easy to get some great shots, even though it was raining, because they were so much fun. Between all the laughs I tried to capture the love between them. It was also easy because they are so photogenic.

Thank you Heide and Leif!

Family Photo Shoots

I have not been as diligent about bloging as I should be.  This time i am going to use my thesis as my excuse. I have folders of pictures waiting to be shared, so I thought I would make this a combined post. Over the past month I have been asked to take photos of two beautiful families! Some day I will have children of my own but, until then I thoroughly enjoy capturing the love and laughter in other families.

Winter Engagement Photo Shoot

I had the honor of being part of a wonderful engagement photo shoot a couple of weekends ago. I have discovered that engagement photos are my favorite to shoot, especially this one! The love between them was so apparent!

The actual proposal occurred in January so they really wanted snow. We lucked out with some great thick snow and sunshine.  I hope you like these as much as I liked taking them!

Indoor Winter Wedding

Here is a sample of pictures I took at an indoor winter wedding. The lighting allowed for a more dramatic feel in the pictures. They were married on a stage, which allowed for great lighting. The bride was beautiful and the groom handsome… making my job easy!

Hope you enjoy these and please feel free to leave comments! Thank you Ben and Mandy for letting me be apart of your day.

Winter Wedding Photo Ideas

Two weekends ago I had the pleasure of photographing two weddings. It was a weekend of no sleep but so much fun. Here are some of the pictures from the first wedding (second wedding pictures coming soon!). It was so evident the love they had for each other! When they saw each other for the first time all the stress just disappeared from their bodies and all that was present was joy.

We had some fun with chalkboards. I made them, with the help of my husband. All it took was wooden plaques from Micheal’s and some chalkboard pain. Make sure to sand the boards before and give yourself enough time for the paint to dry (the chalk does not work if the paint is not dry!).

Hope you enjoy these! I know I had so much fun taking and editing them!!
